Kinghemjay biography


Abdulmajeed Olamilekan, known by his stage name ' King Hemjay but popularly called King Hemjay Kabiesi, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist from Ikeja, Lagos State. He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue.

King Hemjay grew up listening to the likes of late DaGrin, 9ice , Drake, 2face Idibia, Lord of Ajasa, Meek Mill, Jay Z, Olamide, D’banj, Reminisce to mention few, these are people who has always been a source of inspiration to him and as influenced his music career.

King Hemjay is known to have performed live on several reputable stages all over Nigeria and a couple of times in neighbouring African countries, where evidence has shown he is most definitely a street favourite.

King Hemjay music is gaining serious mass appeal and his rap style is being enjoyed by many. It is safe to say, the streets love him and he indeed loves them in return.
